Corporate Name
The “American Ju-Jitsu Association” is a registered corporation in the state of California and is registered with the United States Government as a 501[c][3] corporation. Use of the name may be authorized only by the Board of Directors of the American Ju-Jitsu Association. Misuse or abuse of the corporate name may result in criminal and civil liability as determined by legal counsel.
Trademarks
The “Budoshin Ju-Jitsu” logo and the “Budoshin Ju-Jitsu Yudanshakai” logo are registered trademarks. The abbreviation “BJJY” is an accepted abbreviation of the “Budoshin Ju-Jitsu Yudanshakai” trademark. None of these registered trademarks may be used without the expressed and written consent of their owner, George Kirby. Unauthorized use may result in criminal proceedings based upon federal statutes and civil liability as determined by legal counsel.
